Patrick Hinton recently joined The Law Offices of Christon Skinner, P.S. as an associate. Prior to joining our team,
Patrick L. Hinton has practiced law since 1989 primarily in the commercial sector. Patrick has represented securities broker-dealers, registered representatives, mortgage bankers and brokers, insurance agents, contractors, real estate developers, and others in a range of disputes, including contract claims, investor arbitrations, insurance coverage matters and class action lawsuits. In addition to his commercial practice, Patrick has also handled criminal defense and family law matters.
Patrick is licensed to practice before the state courts of Washington and California and is also admitted to argue before the United States District Courts for the Western District of Washington, the Southern District of California and Central District of California. Patrick has in the past served as an arbitrator for both Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the National Futures Associations and served as Judge Pro Tem in the Placer County Municipal Court.
A past Rotarian, Patrick enjoys giving back to the community when possible. He served as an arbitrator for both Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the National Futures Associations and as Judge Pro Tem in the Placer County Municipal Court. On occasion, Patrick has led bar association sponsored legal education classes for elementary school children, an activity which he found particularly rewarding.
